Rick Hageman went to school at the University of Illinois where he was President of his physical therapy class and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has taken multiple Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Courses in addition to Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Dry Needling, and Manual Therapy Courses. He is an adjunct faculty member and Board member of the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education Physical Therapy Assistant Program. He has recently retired from the Navy after 23 years of active and reserve duty. While serving in the US Navy he was the appointed physical therapy consultant to the White House Medical Unit in Washington, DC. He served at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany during Operation Iraqi Enduring Freedom.
Rick has worked with professional athletes, weekend warriors and scholastic athletes his entire career. He has coached multiple sports. Rick has presented a variety of topics to professional and community organizations and published numerous articles.
Rick and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their three grown children. Running is the activity that Rick is most involved whether training, racing or coaching.
