Rick Hageman went to school at the University of Illinois where he was President of his physical therapy class and is a Board Certified Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. He has taken multiple Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Courses in addition to Myofascial Release, Craniosacral Therapy, Dry Needling, and Manual Therapy Courses. He is an adjunct faculty member and Board member of the Chesapeake Area Consortium for Higher Education Physical Therapy Assistant Program. He has recently retired from the Navy after 23 years of active and reserve duty.  While serving in the US Navy he was the appointed physical therapy consultant to the White House Medical Unit in Washington, DC. He served at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany during Operation Iraqi Enduring Freedom.

Rick has worked with professional athletes, weekend warriors and scholastic athletes his entire career. He has coached multiple sports. Rick has presented a variety of topics to professional and community organizations and published numerous articles. 

Rick and his wife enjoy traveling and spending time with their three grown children. Running is the activity that Rick is most involved whether training, racing or coaching.

Laura is a life-long resident of St. Mary's County. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Villa Julie College in Baltimore, Maryland and then attended Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA to complete her doctorate of Physical Therapy. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is a full time physical therapist at our Leonardtown Office.

Carolyn grew up in upstate NY and received her BS/MSPT from Russell Sage College in Troy, NY. After graduating and beginning working, she continued her education and earned her DPT  from Boston University. Carolyn has been with the company for almost a year, working as a PRN physical therapist in our Leonardtown office. When she is not working, Carolyn can be found spending time with her family and friends, volunteering at her sons' school or crafting.

Aaron attended physical therapy school in Omaha, NE at Creighton University. Prior to school, Aaron attended Chadron State College in his home town of Chadron, NE. It was while attending undergraduate where Aaron developed an interest in helping people reach their utmost potential physically. This passion developed while playing four years of NCAA football at Chardon State. He continued his passion while attending graduate school at Creighton.

Aaron was involved in several student organizations, including serving as treasurer for Creighton University Student Physical Therapy Association and member of Sports Therapy Club/Physical Therapy Leadership Guild. Since graduating he has worked with a variety of patients. Prior to ProFlex, he served as a Travel therapist in many different orthopedic clinics. This gave him a variety of experience working in multiple states including Colorado, California and Maryland. He has worked with patients varying from Olympic//Collegiate athletes to patients with spinal cord injuries. With his diverse experience he enjoys helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds return to an active life and believes no one is ever too old to reach their maximum potential. Aaron believes in an individualized approach to the evaluation and treatment process that is always hands on and movement based. He also believes in an active treatment process working with patients as a partnership. He assures his patients receive the attention they deserve with the best rehabilitation. His special interests include working with high school athletes and "weekend warriors."

In his spare time, Aaron enjoys living a very active lifestyle which includes a variety of outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, surfing and snow skiing. He is involved in several community sports leagues including flag football and softball. He looks forward to exploring the Mid-Atlantic region.

Ryerson completed an accelerated Masters of Occupational Therapy Program at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. He graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2013. Ryerson is certified as TPI Level 1 and TPI Medical Level 2. He has presented at the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) National Conference and is a former NCAA Division 1 Golfer. Ryerson is a Certified Hand Therapist and a member of our Waldorf and Leonardtown hand therapy teams. He treats a variety of common and/or complex hand and upper extremity conditions. Ryerson's primary goal is the help individuals return to meaningful activities with as much independence and performance as possible. In his spare time, Ryerson enjoys playing golf, playing and coaching ice hockey and watching movies.

Wendy graduated from University of Maryland in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science Degree. From there, Wendy went on to complete her associates Degree in Applied Science at Northern Virginia Community College. Wendy continues her education yearly by attending various continuing education courses on various topics with emphasis on orthopedic treatments. Wendy has 27 years of experience in treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic sports injuries. In her spare time, Wendy enjoys skiing, ice hockey, cheering on the Washington Capitals and enjoying the great outdoors with her husband and their Siberian Huskey.

Shannon graduated, Cum Laude, from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science Degree.  In 2005, she graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Anne Arundel Community College with an Associate of Applied Science to become a Physical Therapist Assistant.  

Shannon began working with the company full-time in 2005 and now works part-time in our Leonardtown clinic.  In addition, Shannon has helped create, implement, and instruct a high intensity athletic conditioning program offered during the summer.  Shannon is originally from Davidsonville, MD and now lives in Leonardtown with her husband and twin boys.  When she is not working, Shannon volunteers at her children’s school and enjoys spending free time with her family and friends.

Corey attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) where he received a Bachelors in Biology with a minor in Management of Aging Services from the Erikson School. He went on to complete the Physical Therapy Assistant program through the CACHE Program at Anne Arundel School of Health Sciences.

He currently provides treatment to patients at our Leonardtown Office, seeing a variety of diagnoses. Corey is also the coordinator of volunteer services for individuals interested in obtaining clinical observation hours in order to gain further knowledge regarding Physical/Occupational therapy or for those needing observation hours to apply to graduate school. In his spare time, Corey enjoys being outdoors hunting, fishing, boating or playing with the family dog. He also enjoys playing a variety of sports especially baseball and even coaches his wife's softball team.

Elizabeth graduated from the Chesapeake Area Consortium of Higher Education Physical Therapist Assistant program through the College of Southern Maryland in 2014. Prior to that, she attended University of Maryland, Baltimore County where she earned her degree in Biology with a minor in Management of Aging Services.

She continues to learn new techniques through continuing education classes.  Elizabeth is a Physical Therapist Assistant at the Leonardtown office. She has worked with a variety of conditions and enjoys helping patients regain function and return to their daily and recreational activities.

In her spare time, Elizabeth enjoys being active with her family. She plays softball in the St. Mary's County Women's Softball League and enjoys playing volleyball and Frisbee golf.

Amy attended Texas Tech Health Science Center and completed her degree in Occupational Therapy in 1999. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Rehab Science with an emphasis in Business in 2004. In 2007, Amy received her certification to become a Certified Hand Therapist. In her free time Amy enjoy spending time with her husband and two beautiful daughters. She enjoys interior decorating and tries to stay active by jogging and practicing yoga.

Amanda attended Frostburg State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. While attending Frostburg State, Amanda was the captain of her field hockey. Amanda is a certified group exercise instructor. Amanda is a certified outreach Athletic Trainer at Chopticon and Great Mills High Schools. She is also a Physical Therapy Aide at hte Leonardtown clinic. In Amada's spare time, she likes to play field hockey, ride four wheelers, cheer on teh caps, as well as watch her favortie TV show, Big Brother.

Pam is the office manager at our Leonardtown Office. She has been with the company for over 18 years. Raised on the East Coast of New Jersey, Pam attended college in the Philadelphia area. Pam is active member in the community with women's sports, she is the Commissioner of the St. Mary's Girls' Lacrosse League. As a co-founder of the league, Pam has run the non-profit organization for 15 years bringing lacrosse to young women throughout the tri-county area and changing their lives forever. Coaching, teaching and mentoring young people are her passions. Family is first and foremost with Pam. Married with 3 children, she enjoys traveling, photography, scuba diving, reading, biking and gardening.

Kayley attended the College of Southern Maryland and graduated in 2013 with her Associate's Degree in Business Administration. She is currently enrolled at the University of Maryland University College pursuing her Bachelor's Degree. Kayley works full time as a front desk coordinator at the Leonardtown Office. In her spare time she enjoys painting, photography and reading.
