Josh grew up in St. Mary’s County, MD before attending Salisbury University and graduating with an Exercise Science degree in 2004. He then attended the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2011. Josh is certified in Dry needling, Kinesiotaping, and obtained a level 1 certification from the Titleist Performance Institute.

At ProFlex, he regularly performs high velocity thrust techniques, trigger point releases, cupping, IASTM, and blood flow restriction.

In addition to Josh being a full-time Physical Therapist at our Leonardtown location, he spends his free time enjoying being outdoors, relaxing by the pool, weight lifting, or playing golf. Most importantly, he loves spending any free time with his family.

Wendy, a seasoned professional in the field, earned her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Maryland in 1986, marking the beginning of her journey in the healthcare industry. Subsequently, she pursued and completed her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science at Northern Virginia Community College, further solidifying her expertise.

Dedicated to staying current in her field, Wendy actively pursues continuous education, attending various courses with a focus on orthopedic treatments each year. With an impressive 27 years of experience, Wendy specializes in the treatment and rehabilitation of orthopedic sports injuries.

Beyond her professional commitments, Wendy finds joy in an active lifestyle. Whether hitting the slopes for skiing, participating in ice hockey, or passionately cheering on the Washington Capitals, she embraces her love for sports. Wendy and her husband, along with their Siberian husky, cherish spending time outdoors, further enriching their quality time together.

Elizabeth is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant at the Leonardtown office, bringing a wealth of knowledge and a passion for patient care. Graduating from the Chesapeake Area Consortium of Higher Education Physical Therapist Assistant program through the College of Southern Maryland in 2014, Elizabeth’s commitment to learning didn’t stop there. Before her PTA program, she earned her degree in Biology with a minor in Management of Aging Services from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Known for her continuous pursuit of excellence, Elizabeth stays updated with the latest techniques through ongoing education classes. Her focus in the Leonardtown office extends to working with a diverse range of conditions, where she finds immense satisfaction in helping patients regain function and return to their daily and recreational activities.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Elizabeth embraces an active lifestyle with her family. She actively participates in the St. Mary’s County Women’s Softball League, showcasing her love for the sport. Volleyball and frisbee golf are additional passions that she enjoys during her leisure time.

Corey’s academic journey began at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he earned a Bachelor’s in Biology with a minor in Management of Aging Services from the Erikson School. Building on this foundation, Corey furthered his education by completing the Physical Therapy Assistant program through the CACHE Program at Anne Arundel School of Health Sciences.

Currently serving as a dedicated provider of patient care at our Leonardtown Office, Corey brings a wealth of knowledge to address a diverse range of diagnoses. Beyond his clinical role, Corey serves as the coordinator of volunteer services, facilitating opportunities for individuals seeking clinical observation hours in the realm of Physical/Occupational therapy or applying to graduate school.

In his leisure time, Corey finds solace and joy in the great outdoors. Whether hunting, fishing, boating, or enjoying playful moments with the family dog, he embraces an active lifestyle. Corey’s passion extends to the sports arena, where he actively participates in various activities, notably baseball. As a testament to his coaching abilities, he takes on the role of coaching his wife’s softball team.

Lauren, an accomplished Occupational Therapist, earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from Salisbury University in 2016. Subsequently, she pursued and successfully obtained her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Trinity Washington University in 2018. Currently, Lauren brings her expertise to the Leonardtown ProFlex PT location with a keen interest in furthering her professional development through the pursuit of a Hand Therapy Certification.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Lauren thrives on an active lifestyle. She engages in CrossFit classes, finds joy in running, and relishes outdoor playtime with her dog. Lauren’s appreciation for the outdoors extends to her leisure activities, where she enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

LeAnn, a skilled Occupational Therapist, completed her education at Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, North Carolina, earning her degree in Occupational Therapy. Armed with a Certification in Hand Therapy and boasting nearly 15 years of expertise in treating hand and upper extremity injuries, LeAnn finds immense joy in guiding patients toward improved quality of life, helping them regain range of motion, and restoring functional use.

Beyond her professional pursuits, LeAnn’s life is enriched by a variety of interests. An avid soccer enthusiast, she not only enjoys playing the sport but also takes pleasure in coaching. Family holds a special place in her heart, and she dedicates quality time to them. LeAnn is an avid traveler, finding delight in exploring new destinations, especially those with sandy beaches. Her commitment to community extends to her involvement in church activities and volunteering.
