]]> Shannon serves as a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant at our Leonardtown clinic, contributing to the team with her valuable expertise. Beyond her role in patient care, Shannon has played a pivotal role in creating, implementing, and instructing a high-intensity conditioning program offered during the summers at the Leonardtown office.

Originally from Davidsonville, MD, Shannon now calls Leonardtown home with her husband and twin boys. Outside of her professional commitments, Shannon dedicates one day a week to volunteer at her children’s school, highlighting her commitment to community engagement. During her leisure time, she finds joy in spending quality moments with her family and friends, often participating in outdoor activities year-round.

To me, if life boils down to one thing, It’s movement. To live is to keep moving.

Nancy completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, College Park in 1999. She continued her education at Chesapeake Area Consortium of Higher Education – Physical Therapist Assistance program through Anne Arundel Community College in 2002, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Nancy has worked in outpatient orthopedics for 18+ years and is always looking to expand upon her treatment skills and approach through continuing education. Nancy works part-time in the Lexington Park and Leonardtown offices. When she is not in the clinic, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
