ProFlex Physical Therapy has developed a program to improve strength, speed, agility, power and overall athletic performance. The Agoge Training Program will provide the latest and most proven neuromuscular techniques to improve your body control and fitness with an emphasis on injury prevention.

Special emphasis is given to ACL injury prevention exercises and strategies. Many experts view the ages of 12 to 18 as the most ideal ages for developing speed, strength and power over an athlete’s entire lifetime.

Improving neuromuscular control is one of the most important factors in injury prevention.

All participants will complete a Functional Movement Screen (FMS) to identify any areas that require training or correction prior to beginning the Agoge Training Program. The screen is comprised of seven fundamental movement patterns that require a balance of mobility and stability and place the individual in extreme positions where weaknesses and imbalances become noticeable. The program will be supervised by Physical Therapists specializing in orthopedics and sports medicine and will utilize exercise and education to improve body control.

This program is a high intensity program that will challenge you as you improve.
