Proflex Gaithersburg is awesome. I had postpartum challenges with pain in my spine and neck and had no strength. But I had the opportunity to work with Lindsey, Leah, Tyler, and Anne. Each one of them have been so helpful and I feel like myself again. They have taught me how to navigate through my challenges and my pain is almost gone! Highly recommend them all. Fun atmosphere, would love to still see them in the future if I needed them

The staff at ProFlex PT are amazing. This is my fourth lifetime PT clinic for a knee injury that's plagued me for a decade, and I leave feeling sufficiently strong and prepared to maintain that strength for years to come. My PT (Tyler) was professional, empathetic, and willing to work with me to develop a training regime to continue training outside of sessions. Going to ProFlex always felt like working 1:1 with a coach on a sports team and I'm going to miss working with Tyler. During my time there, ProFlex also attended Molly's Annual ASAP walk (American Syringomyelia & Chiari Alliance Project) to raise money for this congenital spinal condition. Awesome PT place that I couldn't recommend more.

I had an outstanding experience at ProFlex Physical Therapy in Gaithersburg. When I came in September, my rotator cuff was painful with restrictive motion. I finished my PT in December; my shoulder feels good and I am able to move it freely. Initially, I saw all three therapists and each was excellent; the last 6 weeks I saw Leah, who was terrific. The therapists listen carefully, explain fully, adjust the exercises as needed and give authentic encouragement and advice. Deja, at the Front Desk, did an amazing job scheduling appointments and communicating changes or updates as needed. I always looked forward to seeing her when I came to PT. I fully recommend ProFlex; if I need PT in the future, I am grateful to know where I’ll go.

Tyler is a very experienced and knowledgeable physical therapist. He thoroughly assessed my condition and created a personalized treatment plan that helped me gain my strength and mobility. He always explained exercises clearly and made me feel confident in my recovery process.

I have been to several PT practices. In general they are good - ProFlex is outstanding. After back surgery, I went twice per week for several months. Each time I would go, Tyler would check on progress since the last visit and adapt that day’s workout according to my progress and needs. A few times Tyler was not there, another therapist took over and was completely up to speed on my issues and progress – we didn’t miss a beat. This is because the therapists enter extensive documentation into their database and any backup therapist has obviously taken the time to review the document BEFORE I arrive. As awesome as Tyler was, my treatment went very well even when he was not there. The team does everything possible to accommodate my schedule and schedule changes. In addition to the excellent care, EVERYONE at ProFlex was knowledgeable, professional and extremely pleasant to work with. They work very well together as a team. I highly recommend ProFlex for your PT needs.

I can't recommend ProFlex highly enough! Lindsay was my physical therapist, and not only was she smart, she was delightful to work with. After a few months of physical therapy, my arthritic hip is less painful than it's ever been. Furthermore, the entire staff at ProFlex is friendly and helpful. I would send my family and friends to ProFlex.

Tyler and the team at ProFlex PT are outstanding. Comparing them to a different PT practice I had used before, ProFlex is head and shoulders above.

First, you see the Physical Therapist at each appointment - not just a tech.

Second, they adapt the therapy based on your progress. It's not just on autopilot doing the same stuff forever.

Third, they provide detailed instructions for at-home reinforcement. This all while maintaining regular communication with my physician to ensure that everyone is on the same page.

There is a reason why PT schools send students to them for training and development. This also means that they have a full complement of staff there to provide optimal care. I never have had the feeling that I wasn't getting their full attention (unlike my prior experience elsewhere).

Finally - they are good people who operate with integrity.

I had an excellent experience. My doctor highly recommended them. Lindsay was my PT and she was great. Patient and caring and very knowledeable about what therapy protocol would be best to help my shoulder recovery. Everyone working there is very nice, facility is clean and top-notch, and they try to make the process fun as well as therapeutic. I would not look anywhere else if I have another need for therapy in the future.

My 14 year old daughter suffered a traumatic injury ice skating in February, breaking both the tibia and fibula in her right leg. After her surgery healed, we needed to find a physical therapist that would help her regain both mobility and strength in her leg. Due to her young age and the nature of her injuries, I was really nervous about finding the right PT. Thankfully, we found ProFlex Gaithersburg right in our own neighborhood. From my initial call to the scheduling of all of our visits, Deja was amazing at answering my questions and finding appointment times that fit both my work and daughter's school schedule. I couldn't have asked for better therapists than Tyler and Lindsay, who were extremely knowledgable, kind, patient and encouraging as they treated my daughter and coached her through the exercise program that would eventually get her from a wheelchair, to crutches, to walking, to running, and to jumping all within a four month period, just in time to enjoy summer break. I am so thankful for ProFlex and I highly recommend them!

I was recovering from a hip replacement and walking with a cane the first 3 appointments and using a walker at home. My physical therapist was very knowledgeable and advised me to try to walk without the walker at home when possible, after that I gained a lot of confidence. I made steady progress from mid May through my final session in August. I am back to walking, bending and doing my regular things around the house. I am very grateful to my physical therapist, Tyler and the staff of Proflex. I highly recommend them.

I came into ProFlex with considerable amount of hip flexor pain. I was walking bent forward and would get a sharp pain down my leg every few steps. I worked with Lindsey for 4 months and am back to being able to do most everything I could before and I continue to improve as I carry on doing my home exercises. She was was very patient and encouraging when I was convinced I would never be better. I am so happy I found ProFlex and Lindsey. All the other therapist seemed great also.

Leah and the staff were incredible throughout my knee replacement PT. She really developed a feel for my pain tolerance and willingness to do the hard work. It was a great partnership and I really felt they were totally invested in my, and other patient’s therapy! The outcome was outstanding.

I went to Proflex to help recover from a frozen shoulder. I worked mostly with Lindsay, and she was very helpful in helping me increase my range of motion and decrease my pain. I'll definitely go back there next time I mess something up.

The reason I did not give it five stars is the facility itself. It is totally fine and they have all the needed equipment, but I was hoping for something a little more state of the art. This is a very minor quibble, and should not stop you from going there if you need PT.

I saw Tyler at the Gaithersburg office for two issues, my shoulder and hip. He was awesome. I really got a lot out of my therapy and felt that Tyler was extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of my treatment. And the atmosphere of the office was fun and enjoyable, which certainly helps if any of the therapy is stressful! I highly recommend ProFlex to anyone needing PT.

I can't thank Tyler enough for being so patient with me throughout my healing process. It was always therapeutic, both mentally and physically to come in and have a session with him. I felt like he genuinely cared about me and my overall wellbeing, far beyond just the reason I was currently in physical therapy! I can't recommend this clinic any higher!

I had been diagnosed with Frozen Shoulder by my doctor that I got last August and they recommended physical therapy. I chose ProFlex and was fortunate to get Tyler, who assessed my initial state with my shoulder and from the onsite and at-home exercises he recommended, I was quickly almost back to full range of motion and significantly less pain. Frozen shoulder can take from months to years to resolve, so I am very fortunate I am on the short end of it and thank Tyler for his exercise regimen that got me moving back towards normal quickly.

Looked up a place near my job as I needed some physical therapy on my neck and shoulder that I messed up some how. I couldn't sleep on that side as I'm a side sleeper, had lost some strength in that arm, etc. Tyler evaluated me with a series of questions and a physical assessment on the first day and set me up with a regimen of appointments to get me back right. I also worked with Leah who provided me with a rubber resistance band as I was going on vacation about two weeks after I started physical therapy. They have an app where they loaded the exercises that I was able to do on my own while I was away which really helped. I'm quite pleased with my progress as of today the pain is totally gone, I can sleep on my side now, I also nolonger have the tingling sensation in my index and thumb fingers, as well as I can throw the ball again as I coach my kids baseball and softball teams. I would highly recommend the staff at ProFlex Physical Therapy!! They also weren't pushy about scheduling tons of appointments for a money grab; which I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with at another place of business. Great job Tyler and Leah....much appreciated!!! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

I recently found myself once again looking for a Physical Therapist to help me deal with severe arthritis. I was fortunate to find ProFlex Physical Therapy and Lindsay. Lindsay developed a program to help elevate my pain from a IT Band Issue and L4/L5 back issues.
I have seen a PT after each of my three knee replacements and two hip replacements. I found that Lindsay by far has the best approach and made me feel well cared for, hence I would not hesitate recommending Proflex PT.

I have been working with Tyler for a couple of months now, and my back pain has significantly improved to the point where it does not affect my daily activities anymore! He is a great listener, very knowledgeable, and he was the first person to give a clear explanation for why my pain was not going away and what each step of the treatment plan would look like. The thing I most appreciate is that he is very invested in helping me reach my goals, and easily adjusts to any circumstance (if I had a bad week, that weeks exercise will look different than in recent weeks where I felt stronger so he increased the challenge). Even as my goals have changed (now I want to start running), he has pivoted with me and guided me on the healthiest way to move forward. I highly recommend ProFlex and Tyler!!

I went to proflex for ~2 months due to a groin injury. During my time in PT, I worked with Leah and Lindsay. They were both very helpful and professional. I felt like my PT was very tailored to me and didn’t seem like just a generic set of exercises. Additionally, they were very fun to work with and joyful people. It made going to PT an enjoyable time vs a burden. I am feeling much better as a result, and I’m very glad I went. Highly recommend!

Wonderful practice with a knowledgeable group of PTs who are thoughtful and collaborative in their approach to treatment. I worked with multiple therapists who all listened to my needs and helped address some lingering back and knee pain so I could work towards my training goals. I also appreciated that making appointments and billing was straight-forward and simple. Would recommend to anyone looking for physical therapy.

The whole team and environment is great and helped beyond what I could have imagined! They guided me in my rehab while learning how to walk again post surgery, working with me and being invested in my progress every step of the way. Biggest thanks to Leah and Tyler as my primary PTs- they helped me repair my range of motion in my knee, and helped me step outside my comfort zone while feeling supported at the same time. They are extremely accommodating and knowledgeable about any questions or concerns I had during rehab. Even after I ‘retired’ from PT, Leah reaches out occasionally to check in on my progress 🙂 Deja at the front desk is super welcoming and helpful for any questions I had regarding billing and scheduling. I can’t recommend ProFlex enough to anyone who wants a welcoming, friendly physical therapy environment!!
