Veteran Day Message

Dear Veteran:

Veteran’s Day provides an opportunity to express our gratitude to those, past and present, who have served our country.  Living in a community with a large military influence, I am keenly aware of the far-reaching effects of the military member.  The active duty and reserve members are the tip of the spear with an extensive support system behind them beginning with families, friends, government employees, and contractors that support the mission.  It is important for all of us to recognize the tremendous contribution that so many members of our country make to our Veterans.  The men and women in uniform represent countless hours of people behind the spotlight contributing to the greatness of our country.  Only 7% of Americans have served in the military to be the tip of the spear, but they are not alone in their commitment to support and defend the constitution.

As a Veteran, I understand the sacrifices that we make and the responsibility that we willingly shoulder.  I also understand the incredible support that I received during and after my service.  This Veteran’s Day, we celebrate the commitment made to defend our country.  As we celebrate being a Veteran, let’s not forget those that supported us during our careers.  Our greatness as a country is the result of the efforts of many citizens.

This Veteran’s Day, I celebrate with my fellow Veterans.  You have a choice when selecting a healthcare provider.  I appreciate that you chose ProFlex Physical Therapy. All Americans have that choice because of the service you have provided to this great country.  We can celebrate our service to this country by saying “I am an American.  I am a Veteran.  I am not alone.” Thank you for your service.

v/r,

Richard S Hageman, CDR, USN, MSC (RET)
