Support staff were very friendly, a select few of therapists were excellent. However, I would not personally go back. I felt like my treatment was not taken seriously. I was left to do exercises on my own without much guidance on how to properly do them and waited around for direction quite a bit. The first eval with a certain therapist was awful, I was laughed at and treated unprofessionally. I didn’t want to go back but my options were limited at the time. A few years ago I worked at a different local physical therapy place and was going to school for OTA degree so I know a bit about treatment and what it should look like. I guess as the saying goes a few bad apples can ruin the bunch. Just my personal experience and wanted to share.

I am in the middle of my therapy journey, I'm very happy with how it's going , the therapist are amazing and really listen to all my concerns. I can't thank them enough for helping me bring my pain level down so I can manage my day to day life. AMAZING team .

I had an old injury to my knee that flared up to the point where it actually would not hold my weight when I was going down steps. The pain was excruciating. I talked to my doc and she suggested physical therapy. I was ready - I knew physical therapy would help, but wasn't sure how much.So I signed up for Proflex. They started by taping me up, and working the muscles around my knee. Ok, sounded good. Then I was surprised in a couple of weeks the pain was actually getting better.By the end of my time at Proflex, I really hadn't noticed it, but the exercises that were building the muscles and moving my knee back into the correct position, the pain was essentially gone. I literally had no problem going down stairs anymore. To be honest, I was pretty surprised how effective this was. But I am really grateful. This was a great experience and I will not underestimate how effective the time spent at good physical therapy can be. These folks are very good. I would totally recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

I had a stroke in mid-Dec '21. As a result I wasn't able to walk straight without extreme leaning to my right side. I had to use a walker or be assisted in other ways to keep from falling down and wasn't able to drive or do almost anything for myself. After explaining to staff at Proflex, they were able to get me in quickly for an initial evaluation and set up a PT schedule for me.My physical therapists were Vicky and Lauren. They are both excellent, have good attitudes, are able to address any questions and "know their stuff." I highly recommend Proflex for anyone who needs physical therapy in the St. Mary's County, MD area. If you follow the mandate set by them, you'll see great improvements!

With ProFlex, I got my life back. After knee surgery, I couldn't walk or put weight on it for a while. I was anxious to start physical therapy because I didn't see how my situation could improve. My first day there, I could barely bend my knee or slide it across the board. Towards the end of my physical therapy weeks later, I was able to do dead lifts, lunges, 1 leg squats and run. I have my life back, something that I truly thought I would never have. Now I can keep up with my toddler, I take pilates, go on long walks, etc. I still do stretches and exercises I learned while at ProFlex at home too. I highly recommend anyone to go there. They are the BEST!
