Dr. Nikki Waters, PT, DPT, CMTPT, is a Virginia native whose passion for physical therapy began after undergoing two ACL reconstructions in high school. Growing up in Manassas, VA, she was a member of the soccer and swim teams at Osbourn High School. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University (Go Dukes!) in 2012 before completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Marymount University in 2017.
Nikki is a full-time physical therapist at ProFlex’s Aquia office, specializing in outpatient orthopedics. Since graduating, she has earned certification in trigger point dry needling, trained in the Graston Technique, and completed courses in headache treatment and running analysis. She is passionate about helping patients regain independence and reduce pain, with a special interest in post-surgical rehabilitation and balance training.
With a hands-on, individualized approach, Nikki creates engaging and effective treatment sessions tailored to each patient’s goals. She brings a blend of clinical expertise, enthusiasm, and a fun atmosphere to the clinic, believing that honesty, teamwork, and commitment are key to success.
Outside of work, Nikki loves spending time with her husband, two children, and dog. She enjoys being outdoors, is an avid fan of true crime shows and reality TV, and during football season, you can find her cheering on the Dallas Cowboys!
