Dr. Tyler Veldhuizen, originally hailing from North Canton, OH, embarked on his journey in healthcare with a Bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Malone University. He further honed his expertise by obtaining a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University. Driven by a commitment to excellence, he obtained an additional certification in MDT (McKenzie) treatment for low back pain and focuses on keeping up with the latest research in the physical therapy field.
With a focus on providing the highest quality of care, Dr. Veldhuizen passionately addresses a broad spectrum of orthopedic injuries. His dedication to patient well-being and recovery is evident in his compassion for his patients and his approach to treatment that finds the harmony of being individualized and evidence based.
Beyond the clinic, Dr. Veldhuizen is deeply invested in his family and church. You can also find him engrossed in a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, or engaging in various forms of exercise as he seeks to live the principles of health that he promotes for his patients.
